HISTORY

 

This Internet Cafe of New York (internet-ny.com) was initiated in Bay Shore, NY, in 1999 with some computers that were not been used en the production of the publication “The Bilingual”, and seen so many families coming to this area from different countries that were looking for a place were they can use the Internet, that is common in their countries but was not here in the USA, where most people have this services at home.

 

In that year of 2003 we open the first office in Brentwood, where new computers were installed and with better facilities for our customers, which are mostly from Latin America, Europe, Asia and to some smaller amount Americans.

For affiliation read the Conditions that follows and send us an e-mail filling the form that appears at the bottom. Come to the office to get your ID Carnet with a number that will allow you to participate in drawings for Free Time at our locations.

This place is under 24 hour live and recorded video surveillance

 

Do not bring in meals, drinks or licors - Smoking is prohibited.

 

Do not connect or disconnect anything in the computers.

 

Please Do Not use vulgar vocabulary, pompous, soez or loud (that can bother other people around you).

 

Do not open many programs or pages (You will not going to have good sound or video and the computer can be blocked).

  

If photos or documents needs to be scanned, burn a disc, print in color

or take a picture, you must communicate with us. If you need to record archives please consult with us first - The software that we use for

 

INTERNET CAFE will not let you do it.

 

The prize of the tickets only authorizes to use the computer, the programs or the service of Internet that is in it. If you need help (For example: to create e-mails, format pages in Works, to fill forms, to look for or to download music, make purchases, etc.) this services will be provided if there is personnel to do it and it will be done at additional cost.

 

If you want to update or increase your knowledge of Internet and/or computers we have teachers. Previous appointment 

 

Only one chair per desk. If you take a chair from another desk, you should  be ready to give it back if that chair is needed at the other desk.
